Pilgrim Bandits Supporters Take On 100 Mile Challenge

Have you got what it takes to complete 100 miles for Pilgrim Bandits?

Throughout June, Pilgrim Bandits supporters will be coming together and challenging themselves to complete 100 miles of distance-based exercise – who would like to join them?

You can walk, run, cycle, swim, row, wheelchair or combine any type of movement that gets you ticking off those miles.

Sarah Jacob, one of the organisers of the challenge commented: “The 100-mile challenge will run from 1st–30th June. The aim is to raise both funds and awareness for Pilgrim Bandits and the important work that the charity achieves.

“The challenge is open to absolutely everyone and, as this is a virtual challenge, you can take part as and when you have the time to do so. If you’d prefer to get together as a team to complete the miles, that’s also encouraged – we want to get as many people involved as possible.

“The month of June was selected for more than just the hope of good weather to complete the miles in, this is a time when we celebrate Armed Forces Day. What better time is there to get our veterans, our veteran supporters, their families and friends together to support Pilgrim Bandits – a charity that provides incredible support, in the way of specialist equipment, wheelchairs and experiences, to wounded veterans and emergency service personnel”.

You can find out more about the challenge and how to get involved on ‘The 100-mile challenge in aid of Pilgrim Bandits’ Facebook page. We wish those taking part all the very best and would like to thank you for your efforts.
